A simplistic storage device that was built out of necessity to house my shoes at home. In this project experimentation with aluminum welding was my goal. This process was challenging and I spent the bulk of well over a month to learning how to somewhat perfect this welding technique.

During this project I was able to working with various methods of finishing aluminum: I bent, scratch, sanded and patinaed. In future I would have moved away from welding the shelf to the frame and created a simple connection system. I would use nuts and bolts that allow the it to be easily transported.
